Remember when I made this card? Well our family has been anxiously waiting for my brother to pop the question to Jessica, and he finally did :-) It's gonna be a long engagement which is probably good cuz I'm gonna have to save a lot of money to get my family out to Connecticut for the big day. Don't worry Chris, come hell or high water, I WILL be there for this most special day!

She's growing up!

My daughter shaved her legs for the first time last week. I love the Veet bladeless shaver. I remember when I shaved my legs for the first time. I decided one day while I was in the shower that it was time for me to do it so, I just went at it. I ended up cutting myself kind of bad and got a bit scared. My mom came running and was upset that I didn't tell her ahead of time.

Although I didn't show it at the time, this was an emotional moment for me. I just kept thinking about myself when I was turning into a young lady. I made so many bad choices when I was younger and I just keep hoping that I can influence Ashly to make better choices than I did. She's such a beatiful, kind, caring, passionate, and innocent girl. I love her to death and, I'm scared and excited at the same time, to watch her blossom into a young woman. I only hope that her and I are as close as my Mother and I are.

Boo Hoo

Today is Austin's first day of Kindrgarten. He will be gone until 3:30 pm. I'm really gonna miss him come lunch time. In preschool he was only half day and we always had lunch together when he got home from school :o( Here he is with his sack lunch that he will be eating without ME.
